We took a surgical approach to the 2018 election cycle. Patagonia endorsed four senatorial candidates in key races to help the balance of power in congress. This focused approach allowed us to get very specific with locally-relevant communication.

100% for the Planet

We conceived and launched a global Black Friday campaign in eight days, which went viral. Patagonia gave 100% of that Friday’s sales (not just profits) to grassroots environmental groups, totaling over $11 million in donations.
